Crabapple Just Got Bigger!

If you have hit it last year should be no real difference. Only thing that may have changed is the take off on like 1 or 2 of them. So a little more sender and not so much popper :P

no problem, figure better to be informed than mis informed and unsure what you may find down there :P i love those hits, soooo fun. If they made them bigger i would be sad :P

they changed the landing and take off,stood on it today,it is bigger,the landing has a shit load of dirt added to it making it more a longer landing,i'll take my eyesight over anything,jumps will be super sweet when dried out,it was soft ,so stoked!

I went down there too and they are still the same length jumps they were last year just better take offs and landings.

Crabapple is bigger… No longer a double black, been marked as pro line now.

I had a chance to ride down the new CrabApple Hits on Sunday. After two slow runs to check out the jumps I summoned the balls to attempt them. The new jumps are gigantic. The lips are much taller and steeper than years past, and result in serious altitude. Watching other riders hitting them was gob smacking. When I finally hit them I couldn't help but yell out a long series of expletives while airborne. Thank you Whistler Bike Park for one of the biggest thrills I've had in a long while. I'd love to see some pictures / video of someone hitting em.

i wonder how long before someone tries to backflip or frontflip those bad boys..

That was sick footage! That bike chased him! Epic Fail!

I am on a phone so I cannot post a link but the whistler thread on pinkbike has a video of a few people hitting one of the jumps.

Must get up there and film these and the rest of the park for that matter…. if there's anyone on the boards that can style em and wants some rad footy give me a shout! :beer:
