ya but he was also saying that crankworks wants to keep some features closed so riders cannot come up early and practice them. they can only practice them in the alloted practice amounts they have for that event.

giro trailer should be open this year, after all the boneyard is considered a pro line. I dont think you would have newbs going off the giro trailer and not being able to find the brakes. The people that will be going off it are more than likely experienced riders that would have no problem stopping before flying onto the road.

It's Whistler - where everyone feels like a pro after a few laps down A-Line / Dirt Merchant. I know that I wouldn't hit it, but I'm sure ER_Regular aka MeatHuck would find a way to induce grievous bodily harm upon himself.

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

Its the rediculous mid thirties, midlife crisis people who feel that cleaning a-line and dirt merchant makes them good. reality check NO IT DOESNT, NOT AT ALL. It would be nice to see everything open after Crankworx. Restricting early practice sessions for the pros makes sense tho.

Unlike the wizened twenty-somethings who maintain a zen-like state on the trail and withhold all joy while rolling down the hill.

Grasshopper, I think thou doth project too much. Who cares what people think of themselves. Especially in a holy place such as Whistler.

If I could give rep, I would. Couldn't have said it better myself.

I'm 11 months short of being 30, and I ride because I want my coworkers to think I'm extreme.

w3rd, but if you're 23 you don't understand how much wisdom is wrapped up in that statement. And that's why beers on the GLC patio are so entertaining!
