….overnight in Whistler? Advice appreciated.
Best place to sleep in truck....
In lot 4, but you need to get up at 7ish to get out of there before the bylaw informent comes.I did this about a year ago with a camper and it worked, but not the best. There is also a campground for i think 10 dollers a night just outside of function junction.
Lot 5 is free to stay, the one closest to Lost Lake and furthest away from the hill….on the bylaw is no longer inforced in the summer because Riverside does not offer campsites anymore…lot 4 is not free cause that is where the busses park overnight….

Cool thanks guys so I could kip in lot 5 overnight then move closer to the lifts in the day lots during the daytime ?
Or if you want a little less stress. There are numerous logging roads in the valley that can be used. Cougar valley comes to mind.
Gooch's front yard. Just park on the lawn. You can pee on it too.

As far as I know you can park there all day and night, plus its an easy 2 minute pedal to the lifts along the valley trail next to the skate park and DJs…..

Lot 4 is good for overnight parking, just not overnight "camping". Also alot of bylaw have been laid off so no more enforcement during the summer. I usually just sleep in lot 1 or 2 anyway. I like to take my license plates off during the night and put them back on when I wake up.
Ive been sleeping in the whistler parking lots for 3 years now and have had 1 bylaw ticket. I average 20-25 nights a year.
The biggest thing is to just keep your garbage in check. The bears will bug you if you make a big mess. And when the bears are out, the rangers are out….

Best place to sleep in your truck is in the drivers seat. It's best if you have a bench seat.
The little seats in the back are horrible for getting a good nights rest.
This advice isn't just valid for Whistler. It works everwhere.
