Here's how its going to work: If you have just come back from a day of Whistler and road Garbonzo, post the conditions up there on this thread.

So what's it like up there today (Tuesday, July 19)? I'm headed up tomorrow… :)

Pretty much all dry except for a puddle or two on each of the trails. I have ridden OS, Freight Train, Captain Safety, No Joke, Goat's Gully, In Deep and Too Tight in the last two or three days. Most of the roots have dried out. No Duff and Fatcrobat were closed today, probably for repairs.

In too deep and goat gully were still a bit muddy in places, but no joke was awesome.

freight train/nojoke/duffman/freight train combo was killer tonight……you can finally nail all the root lines that have been sketch city since it opened…..

Have are the trails doing compared to last year? I'm wondering how much abuse they've taken so far this year during the endless mud.

Not as bad as you'd think, a few new lines have been opened up, Fatcrobat has had some work done, but the trails are really mint.

Thursday 21st - Garbanzo in great condition. Only the odd muddy patch on No Joke and Original Sin. All the rock rolls are grippy again (Captain Safety, In Deep etc). Lower Freight Train is great. D1 and Too Tight dry but still tacky - excellent. Anybody going up should have a great weekend.

Saturday July 23 - Rode No Joke and it was completely dry. The only water/mud that I can recall seeing was along the short road section from Franz's ski trail towards the bottom of Red chair. It was my first time down No Joke in a long time, and I was surprised how much it had changed in the span of a year. Although the trail in general is doing fine, there are some sections that could do with some lovin'.

Lower down near the Side Track/No Duff/Duffman/Freight Train trail junction, the only option was Freight Train.

the jumps ar not tables they are gaps and they are really tight …there is not much room around the jumps…its a tight narrow trail and its steep into the jumps… its fun but lasts a whole 45 seconds…
