Is it worth a whole day just to ride this ridgeline?

So a 3hr drive from Van to get there, a 2hr? pedal to the top or a part way shuttle and then a 30-60min? retrieval at the end. Full day just to do that one ride plus a crazy descent at the end of the ridge.

Worth it?

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Boston Bar area.

There's some popular hiking/climbing routes in the area too. I've looked at it for a few years now, and it would be an epic ride. There's a spot out in Chilliwack that would be good too, but I like this one as the ridgeline views would better.

There's a FSR that get's you about 2/3 - 3/4 of the way to the top. I've haven't been out there myself, but on GE it looks like a great place to explore.

Yes recall you talking about the one near the border. Looks interesting... The BB one left to right I assume, or do I have it wrong?

Yeah, there's a few options. I initially looked at something like this, white up, yellow down, hence the need for a retrieval.

Your option would be shorter and no need for a retrieval. But the thought of pushing up through that valley into the alpine and then having that huge descent would be amazing. Views would be killer all around.

It would be a killer bike pack route too.

Looks great. Be nice to know what the ridge is like, if it's actually rideable.

Based on what I see on the maps I think it's doable, but you might need to ride off the ridge in a few spots. It's worth a recon mission...

Some good info here, although he goes in a different route to the right of our pics above. It gives a good idea of the terrain/scenery tho

I think you are right but add 4 hours for rests and possible re routes of sections.
