those are some great tips..i'm really glad that nsmba finally updated their site and added that stuff.
One of the most important things to keep in mind is that whenever you see cedar rot (the red mushy stuff), you MUST dig it out and fill it in with good soil(golden dirt with a foundation of rocks).If you just let the cedar rot lay there it will become one of the most awkward parts of a trail after some use..
the other thing to remember is this: Anyone can build stunts out in the middle of the forest, But it takes a certain amount of skill to create a trail with flow and one with good trail built in.

I'm a delta water shed bike club member and we've done alot of work with trail building and other stuff. for any ideas on how to work with the parks board email me and I can get in contact with other members to give you ideas.

whenever i try to build a trail it ends up to be garbage i need serious help from an more experinced builder

LOL that was when we where like 13 years old man.and you helped build on some of that dumbass.
i wouldnt exactly call you and dan nesles attempts at shakebridges too succesful either LOL

I just wrote an email to my city council concerning the building of an officially approved stunt section, trail net…using your advice and links you give.
Maybe it's gonna work. The area around here is as humid as Vancouver, with mostly fir-kind of trees, but with more soil and less rock.
Hope it's gonna work out. If you build illegal trails, you can get sued…pretty bad. And "official" is the way to go here in Germany.
