Had some fun with the mill today.

My neighbour had a damaged cedar taken down over the winter and I offered to mill up some wood for him. These are some of the planks I cut out of it.

It was my first time out with the new bar too.

nobody else doing some trail work this time of the year? So dry, so dusty…perfect time to hide in the shade under the canopy and split some cedar :)

just started back clearing some corridor on a new project, nice to start getting back out there after a really dry summer….hoping we start getting a bit more frequent precip to get some dirt work maintenance done soon!

tell me about it! I put in a few hundred meters of bench cut trail last week and I'm pretty sure half of it blew away in the wind as I was digging :(
between the dry dust and hordes of wasp nests I ran into I'm waiting a bit longer to start a new project I've got planned.

The work you did on lower boogie man with the drop is awesome i hit it weekly now just a question if you are planning to redo that weird corked wood jump on the left as well ? I love that some drops and jumps are coming back on the shore and that one on the left would be cool with a flater take off and built up landing . Thanks for the hard work .

Hey

sorry I have been away working in the bush with no internet. Yes, I do plan on finishing the drop/jump section at the bottom of boogieman below the rock faces. i put the project on hiatus since the dirt has been so horribly dry to work with and part of my plan is to crib in some dirt and make a new dirt landing for the drops. Been doing woodwork on Fromme the past while instead until the rain returns.

nice job ken, that's quite the collection of rungs.
