That news article was atrocious. Mainstream media and it's bias towards sensationalism and villifying fringe/minority groups is ridiculous.

This particular news outlet definitely excels at sensationalizing stories.

What's the 2.1 million dollar lawsuit that the DNR guy mentions in the clip?

It's in his imagination, a potential "what if?". There has not been a single issue in the six years we have been on the landscape.

Thad, I tip my hat to you ,that bridge looked awesome.
I will remember the layout as I always seem to be building bigger bridge's for problem area's.
If your around Abbotsford , feel free to PM me and I can show you around some of our stuff.
Ever feel the need to make up something big like that again ,next fall another round of building is coming up and you are welcome to join us.

Thanks, man. I would love to be involved in a big project that is not going to be torn out.

I have been wanting to do a cable stayed bridge for awhile, now….

A step in the right direction. I would think there are many more hurdles to come. Let us know how we can help!

Yeah thanks you fat f#@k DNR bureaucrat. What an epic fail.

China has had civilization much longer than the west. Thier solution to over achieving bureaucrats, was to cut the balls off them and put them in a jar. As our civilization evolves, I put this forward as a solution. Especially in light of this fun stomping, revenue ignoring, cowardly bunch.

Will Peter Goldmark be up for election again? I just got the most red-tape-laden bureaucratic email autoreply from his office. Summary: just following regulations, not interested in finding a better solution.

Easily the best shuttle zone on either side of the border, thanks to the builders for all the hard work and please keep the pressure up on DNR and related govt. agencies.

Goldmark is up for re-election in 2012. He won by 0.55% last time. You would think he would be interested in keeping some of his constituents happy…
