Try and find a bigger truck than mine. My truck ain't haul nuttin'! It would be pretty useless to go all that way and realize that you can only take out an armload.

My CRV is definately out for hauling wood, you think your truck is small. Rob was looking into some planks but I havn't heard back from him. As mentioned, I know where there is some cedar to be had, we just need a small crew to go and get it. It is already on the ground so no falling is required, these are windfall trees, but we are still looking at an hour and a quarter each way to get there.

I'll be up there tomorrow for a few hours. Not sure if it will be before you work though.

I have some cedar here, so depending on what's there, I might start laying some rung.

Pics to follow.

Yeah!

Loopie! Calling Loopie!

Next Satruday may work for me, but my work schedule is changing almost everyday right now. Hard to say.

If you are that desperate to go get wood tehRob, I'm we could reimburse you for a p/u truck rental.

What's your estimated time line for completing this trail anyway, Mr. Poopy pants?

No, seriously. Next season? 2 years from now?

Synchro has had that trail in works when I was living in North Van.

I couldn't say now when I might be available…I just moved to a new house and have a lengthy Honey-do list.

Let's say, the first two structures in the next couple weeks.

It would be nice to have the whole thing done by next Fall but realistically, likely Spring '11.

Runged most of the second feature today with, wait for it……………………Cedar!!!! Never seen before in the KBR ever.

Sure looks purdy.

I'm coming up next weekend, make a list of what you want, get Dean to round it up and I'll deliver. Unfortunately I'm busy this weekend and can't get out to grab any cedar.

Here it is. The first ever cedar stunt in the KBR. Isn't it pretty? Pretty and it smells good too.

Corner is too tight, and will be reworked shortly.

Ok, the bridge that leads to the above feature is done and ready for riding. After you leave the above feature the trail turns to the left and spits you out on the access road just above the giant step up. If anyone reading this is at the KBR in the next few days, please ride this section. I need some feedback.

To get to it:

Take Fistfull of Dollars. When you hit the last table next to the road, look for the entrance after the trees about halfway around the berm. It is an uphill ladder to the trail. Keep your speed up.

Enjoy!

I should mention, this ladder is also rungged with beautiful cedar!

Pics to follow.

So I've decided to leave the corner on the skinny for now. We'll see how it goes.

Here is a picture of the opening bridge off of Fistful of Dollars.
