yeah, in other spots i have the rungs a bit further apart. for some reason on this section i place then a bit closer together. i can easily open up the space between the rungs tho by just running the saw in between them. all i really need to do is add about 1/2" to make it okay.

the looser the waist band the deeper the quick sand, or so i have read.

my baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo, i like to sink her with my pink torpedo.

big bottom big bottom, talk about mudflaps, my babe's got them.

so i had a visitor on the trail today. i was bucking up a log into 4ft sections for some long rungs that i needed. i am rolling these things along the ground down to where i need them when i get that errie feeling like someone is watching me. i look up and about 10ft in front of me is a large black bear. i think that i had surprised him as much as he had me.

as i was on a bit of a downhill i gave the big piece of cedar i was pushing a good shove and sent it down the hill towards him. when the bear got distracted by the log coming at him i went back up the hill about 10 ft to where my chainsaw was. i was thingking to myself, 'come on baby, this is when i need you to start first pull.' luckily it fired up right away and it got the bears attention. he backed off a bit but didn't really seem to care. he just sat down and kept staring at me. fawk. to top it off, the bear just happened to be between me and my pack, which of course had my cars keys, wallet, cell phone and lunch in it. i would be damed if that fricking bear was gonna eat my lunch.

so i had to circle around. all the time revving the saw so i was ready to fillet the s.o.b if he decided to charge me. as i worked my way around he was watching me the whole time, probably thinking 'what the hell are you up to?'

when i finally got to where my pack was he had started to move up hill a little bit. i turned on my radio to help make some more noise and try and move him along - good ol' cfox. bears don't seem to like ac/dc very much. at least not this one anyway. as the bear made it's way uphill i tried to get a picture with my camera, but he had moved too far away and i wasn't about to go chasing him thru the trees.

all in all an interesting day on the mountain
