SORCA Trail Day - Nov 22nd

Beat the torrential downpour blues… meet us 10:00am in Raven's Plateau (Westway + Cherry in Valleycliffe). The more work we do while the ground is saturated, the better it will pack, and the better the riding will be in the spring… so come get your 3 degree rain stoke on. Work will be like what you see below… benching for gold.

Mentioning the rain and the cold temperatures is not a good way to get people stoked. You've got to sell the idea using creativity and the omision of some facts. Try "Insect free trail building in a mild climate" that makes it sound quite pleasant!

LOL. I'm up for getting my 3 degree rain stoke on! Should be good times.

It's actually gonna be a great day out there. Bring pulaskis, rakes, hoes and shovels if you have 'em.

I should have sent fire starter instead of food :) Hope it wasn't too wet up there. Ted and I had a huge fire on Half Nelson to keep the chill away.
