Is this still going on? Any possibility it's just some bored kids that should just go back to school? Or does it seem like the work of an older nutter.

Still going on - just cleared it yesterday. I suspect it's the same guy who does it to ragdoll and there is a house that is right next to ragdoll trail exit.

Bored kids would not be that consistent. And only one trail that is in proximity to houses and probably one in particular. Has to be a resident that is unhappy with riders near his back yard.

Probably best that trails not be placed close to residential places if possible. I discovered a new trail in Whistler recently that ends in a strata complex. Really bad idea to have a trail exit on private property. If the DH guys discover the trail folks won't be happy to see groups riding through the complex like that. I don't recall where skull comes out? It exits in a cull de sac doesn't it?

Skull comes out on Mill St, sort of a cul de sac - there are a bunch of townhouses there.

Maybe a sign should be put up with something like "intentional vandalism of trails or structures that results in personal injury/death of cyclists or hikers will result in prosecution under the full extent of the law."

Or perhaps, "you mess with the public trails, we mess with your face, honky."

Mind you, any sign would probably be chainsawed down. :(

Put up that sign. With a camera clearly above it. Plot twist: that first camera is a decoy. There are two actual cameras in adjacent trees.

Still going on. I went down Skull at 11:30 today and cleared some logs off the trail. The first two photos are from the entrance off BP, and the last photo is above the jagged rock roll about 1/3 of the way down. The whole thing seems pretty childish. I hope this person gets caught in the act at some point.

It seems so frequent that I'm surprised none of us have seen anyone suspicious out there. I'm guessing someone is going out in the evening or early morning.
