Awesome! Seymour's miraculous revival continues! I wonder if anyone will take on the C-Buster mud pits? Wait, what am I saying? It's just a question of time before someone does! Good times :)

i can't recall if i've been down this new line or not but will say that the last time i was down cunt buster i was surprised and dismayed at the way the trail has deteriorated in the past year or so. if that's a by-product of this new route i think that's unfortunate.

some trails are gems that should be protected with poor access, mandatory moves with high degrees of difficulty and pedaling sections that require effort. all of that will for the most part keep away the trail riff-raff (read uneducated riders) and help keep a trail in nice shape.

Woodro has a good point. People might get pissed if the mud bog gets dumbed down. But such is life.

Shorn Scrotum was obviously worked on at trailfairy's convenience. Ditto the C-Buster mud pits but that will be more of an undertaking as the trail surface needs to get raised and buttressed with some wooden cribbing which will then get filled with gold.

When the time comes for volunteers this fairy is sure that there will be many many people who will volunteer to help as NSMB is SOOOO about doing and not just about talking! :love::love::love:

The beginning and ending of CB is brutal with mud when wet. The steeps are still a treat. If you can't understand the need to fix sections of trail that doesn't disperse water well then you probably will never get it. RIP common sense and hello elitism.

your post there has absolutely ZERO to do with what i said. maybe if you put away that negative perception of yours you'd understand what i actually did say.

i know very well the water situations with the trail as i've done work on it on a casual basis for quite some time. in fact it was the first trails i got my hands dirty on when i went looking to get involved with trail maintenance.it was a good day; lee, sharon, pd and a few others were there to show me the ropes and get me started.

by the way nice little parting shot at the end there as my comments also have nothing to do with elitism. not every trail can be usable by every rider. what were you saying about common sense?
