the bridge over the ditch at the end of salvation is out of comission for a couple of days as it's being widened and decked with rungs.

no doubt.

but, for what the trail is supposed to be the exit is a bit sketchy for beginner level riders so it makes sense. it's a pretty simple project really; i split the two beams apart, dug out the cedar bases at each end, put down some fresh gravel and new bases for the beams and then nailed them down. i got all the structure work done today in 4 hours. now it's just the glory work of hammering down some rungs which should only take a few hours.

So now as we're riding out of salvation side by side holding hands as we tralala down the trail we can reminisce about how we used to fall off the log into a ditch and get punished by driving our face into a gravel road for not doing it right.

ps Syncros - you owe me a full face helmet circa 2002 for falling off that log and driving my face into a rock. Cracked the jaw piece clean off a Bell Ballistic. I also almost ruptured a kidney when I threw my bike away on the first version of your wall ride and then landed on my bike driving a handlebar into my side. Thanks for the memories. Don't stop doing what you're doing. ;)
