New Fromme Parking Lot - Surveillance??

Looks like they're putting the final touches on grading the gravel…..pavement soon?

New parking lot looks quite narrow (at least thats how it appeared from the road) - is it going to fit 2 rows of cars?

Haven't been up in over a week to look since the graded it, but I thought the same thing. I'm also picturing a busy evening/day with a full lot and cars trying to turn around/back out the entrance ramp… will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Those people shouldn't be in the parking lot yet, it's not even open. They're going to give mtn bikers a bad name.

After looking at the picture again, I don't see bike racks on the vehicles. Must be those nasty rude hikers, always messing it up for everyone.

If you guys are really that worried about security, I would think that the fact that there will be constant traffic in and out of the lot (by bikers/hikers) would be sufficient to keep out any sketchy people trying to steal stuff from cars.

After a broken window in an underground parking lot I decided to park outside, right across a Nesters and a TD… one day I get a call from the police telling me that some dudes unscrewed my North Shore Rack and were of to pidgin park.Granted they got caught and it was Gastown, but still….

Saw it today…. It is damn close to done. A bit more compaction near the top of the driveway and they would be able to open it within a day. I gotta think it will be very soon.
