Wow, do you have a high resolution version of that? I feel some [more] exploring is in order…
New Expresso.
Leaving things alone is not a responsible solution…
If you can figure out where to squeeze in a new trail, let me know…
1, most of those stunts are gratuitous, pull them down and the trails are still rideable on the ground. how many stunts on grannies again? or mandatory ones on Upper Crip?
2 you guys didn't close the old Expresso so your argument is invalid. you've added essentially a new line and somehow that was not an issue? but we can only add new lines if we stay within 50 m of an existing trail?
would be nice if your argument held some water. instead you seem to be trying to blow off rational discussion with straw men.
wow so many new trails to enduro.
Seymour - point me to the legal gnar? i know where the gnar on seymour is, and it's currently off the books
not disagreeing but the bottom 1/3 of Boogie is still a pants-shitter, I'd say moreso now than 10 years ago. Empress too.
also, muchas gracias to the guys who re-planked the big boogie log. Not the right thread but w/e.
I think I'm going to try to ride this, and some other boring fromme trails, on Saturday…I'm sure I'll have absolutely no fun

We decided to see what all the fuss was about last weekend. I can confirm we did not have any no-fun whatsoever.
^^come on Dave….that last chundery bit you were whooping and hollering like a kid at playland.
I guess I'm part of the vocal minority, so I thought I'd vocalize. I came here 10 years ago with the North Shore trails being a big part of the reason. Since the beginning I've made it out on a few trail days each year, and this year they've all been on Expresso.
I like most kinds of riding, and most kinds of bike and I look for the challenge of overcoming my fears on the old-school technical trails. I'm still slowly progressing my speed and flow in the tight and technical stuff and this is the kind of riding that keeps me motivated.
But, the Shore doesn't belong to me. I know the punishing process of learning to ride steep natural terrain isn't for everyone and I'm ok with there being trails that aren't like that. I'm ok with coming out and hauling dirt to build them too. Renegade trail building on the Shore just isn't my style, so I'll continue coming out and help with whatever is getting done in a legit fashion.
Now here's my vocal minority bit, so hold on tight… and maybe get a leather strap ready to bite down on. It would be very, very sad if the old lines on Expresso, or any other old-school trail that is the mother-tree for a new reroute, were ever blocked off or abandoned completely by the NSMBA trail days. The way Expresso is developing right now, I can ride with friends and some of us will scuttle off into the trees to ride some of our favorite clapped-out old crap that no-one rides anymore (?), then rejoin at the next intersection to whoop some whoops, flow some golden berms, and embrace the nu-skool. Everyone's happy, everyone has a good time and that's good, right?
Just rode the new expresso, what are people complaining about?
New section is longer faster and less jarring.
Great work!

The AGM tomorrow should be fun! I'd like to invite all to come speak publicly face to face.
