Nelson and area trail building?

I have recently moved to the nelson area (crescent valley to be exact) and I am looking to help out with some local trail building. I don't have any experience building trails but I have done lots of digging, sawing, pickaxing and general full sweat outdoor labour. I would be stoked to join up with a crew and help them develop their master plan. I do have my own truck, but no tools.

Can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Thanks in advance!

There are trail days in castlegar, search for the castlegar mountain bike society on Facebook…they post lots of trail days. Very friendly, dedicated and skilled group of folks

NCC facebook group gets a lot of traffic…. https://www.facebook.com/groups/121029874592134/

this spring I just took some tools out and started maintaining a few trails here and there, talked to mark too, pretty good community for being appreciative of any and all work, and always people going out to do stuff!

I might put in a line further above Wet Dream on the WH20 access road, depends on how much free time I have in august.
Let me know if you're into it, mostly just an excuse to drink beer in the forest.
