Being spoiled by the wifey.
She has given me permission to buy a mini-excavator.
Sold her on the idea, that the yard will get beautified, and that our boy needs to become a man and learn how to drive machinery (he is 7).

So oracle of knowledge known as NSMB. Coach me on mini-ex's. Yup, I know they cost 15,000$ old and 25,000$+ new.

My dad bought a used Kubota KX (either a 71 or 91 can't recall).

He had trouble finding one that has been well maintained that wasn't priced like new. Ended up getting one in the US.

Mind you this was back in Ontario so might be different here in BC.

He started looking almost a year before he really needed it and by the end was getting frustrated with going to look at machines that had been beaten on but guys still wanted top dollar.

In the end he did get real nice clean machine at a good price.

Hopefully you have better luck.

Richey bro's auctions

www.rbauction.com - very reliable and honest company, I used to work for them. Nearest auction site to the lower mainland is in Chilliwack. They are also having an auction in Nanaimo coming up but it's more focused on forestry gear.

lol@this.

One of the last mini excavators they had through had paint over ducttape holding pins in.

The thing about auctions, is that there are reasons each machine is there.
If they could sell it honestly they would
