FROMME: Is Crippler worth the ride?

I was considering riding crippler yesterday but ran into a couple of guys that said the lead in "Granny's" (or whatever) was in disrepair. I find it's a crap shoot on Fromme sometimes and wanted to get a good ride in so I rode something else.

Any beta?

Depends what you're into. The granny's lead in is ridable, just old school. It ain't 7th, that's for sure.

Haven't been on crippler this year, wood was getting sketchy last year.

Rode granny's a couple of times this year and it looks like it has seen about zero traffic so I bet crippler is the same as last year, sketchy.

Its in good shape but like Sammy said its old school so its all about the riders ability to flow it. Some people hate stuff like that.

The big ramp thing is nearing its end. Still somewhat rideable but it'll probably have to come down next year.

Grannies is way too old. Most of it is a creekbed anyways. Crippler is even worse. Too much flat. Too many stupid logs and stumps you have to walk over and too many drops to flat. It totally ruins your flow. Espresso is way better because you dont have to stop every 50 feet.

can't get enough of that sodium benzoate…

That's not actually lower crippler which ends when you cross the creek. That is one of the two exits of the trail that loops in that lower area.

Nice work anyway.
