Forever After-Voluntary Closure

Digger has been in throwing gold to fix some of the trouble spots where the loam has turned to mud. We knew this would occur with use.
New dirt takes time to set up but in the interim, considering the rain expected this wk, if everyone could give the trail a rest for a week it would be appreciated.

Cheers,
MW

Shredding loam in the rain makes Digger cry. Don't make Digger cry.
It's raining. Go to the gym or to yoga or something.

DNV Mayor Richard Walton commended Digger and his "amazing" work in his latest Deep Cove Crier (October 2013, I think) column …. (unfortunately not available online).

Is there any signage at the trail head informing riders of the closure? During my Seymour loop today I was asked about Forever After by two separate groups. When I mentioned the NSMBA closure they both didn't know about it. One group decided to do Pangor instead, the other group quickly changed the subject.

Wait, what? Forever After is the same as After Dales?

Question:
How would a person reliably find out about trail closures such as this in the future? Before they are standing at the trail entrance looking at the closed sign?

I used to use TrailForks to figure out which trails were "wet weather approved", etc., but TrailForks seems to be a broken shell of its former self these days. And the only information I can find on there about Forever After right now shows it as "Green/All Clear".

Thanks.

either here on nsmb (shore or trail maintenance forums) or on the nsmba's website under trails:

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.
