I'd like to get some people up next weekend to do some work on the dentist. It has become overrun with loose rocks over the entire trail. It's not fun work, but the trail will be a blast after it's all cleared, just need 3 or 4 people with rakes and we can sweep the entire trail in a couple hours. thanks to couch for the suggestion. let me know if eather of the two days are possible.
Eagle Trail Day Dec. 28 or 29

Hey man looks like your the only one interested, maybe I will try another weekend. I am going to be doing some building on sunday though if you want to come up I will be there around 11.
thanks anyways
sweep the rocks away?
Why not build some steps or cribs to hold the rocks back and prevent a rut from forming.
Looking to ride the shore but don't know where to go?

I wish I could do that.
The trail isn't a singletrack, with roots.
The main part that needs sweeping is a wide double track there is no worry of ruts forming. The trail doesn't nearly get enough traffic. The trail has probably never been maintained, and after the many years loose softball sized rocks have been scattered over the trail, there are just a few spots that need sweeping. Couch has mentioned this to me a couple times so i thought i'd post to get a few more people up to get it done alot quicker, cause with 3 or 4 people it could be done in a couple hours.
thanks for the suggestion though
I've ridden dentist and was thinking of the top rocky section. That trail could use some loving!
check out the fatboys site too, they ride there a lot and might come out to give you a hand.
