So, is this the section from the frog pond to the yellow gate or is that a different project?

Bridle Path,

Seymour.

Doh! Of course….

So, anyway, how is the Baden Powell "re-alignment" going? Just wondering what the plan is…

It's is very nice. The old line was fine going east, but I don't know anyone who could clean it going west.

That was awesome. Thanks!

Is this work the one way climbing bypass sections or something else?

I quite like the bypass sections for when I am tired, shift up to a nice low gear and just motor up the sections. The original lines were shorter but much more energy required to make it up them.

Either way, thanks to the builders for continuing to improve on the already great trail network.

There is a new section from the frog pong up to the BP from the last Rocky Mountain trail day. Turn left at the top of that, and then right into Lower Griffen to continue your climb.

Great reroute!

Might want to consider leaving the original line open for other users and mountain bikers going down that section. I don't think it could get further eroded. There was a dog walker on it today as I rode up the new section. It would have been tight if they were on the new line with 5 dogs as well as me…

good point
with more of every type of trail user each year - keep the original lines to disperse the traffic
dogs and trail runners actually prefer the rougher more chundery lines to the narrow new school trails, especially when there is two way and/or faster traffic

Being facetious. It amazes me that people run that trail at night.

best way build low light eye focus and sharpen reaction time!
