Does anyone know if this will affect the trails?
Map looks like it could affect Burnaby Mountain and Eagle Mountain.
I am hoping the construction work does not tear up or damage the existing trails.

It might be worth showing up to one of the Information Meetings and put in a vote in favour of MTB trails.

Thoughts?

This is what I received.

A summary report of the study phase community open houses that were held for the Metro North Transmission Study in late January and early February is now available online.
Thank you to everyone who attended our open houses and provided feedback. We continue to review and evaluate the three alternatives and work towards determining a leading alternative. We anticipate communicating this decision by the summer.
Once a leading alternative is selected, we plan to host another round of open houses in 2014 to seek feedback on detailed routing options.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions at [email protected] or 604-623-4472.
Sincerely,

Metro North Transmission Study Team, BC Hydro

talked to some one in the industry. Are referring to the new power line that is crossing over Burke as we speak? If so no trail damage. But you do get a nice smooth road up to the trails.

common sense…..Whats common about sense?!
