We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

No worries. If you like those you should check out the full length film "Rivers and Tides". He also does more permanent work.
I also like this spot: Xilitla, a surreal sculpture garden in the middle of the tropical rainforest.

MOAR PICTURES! MOAR!
That work is incredible. LeeLau, the ferns really help the end product look like it always belonged there. Gives something for the rest of us to aspire to! Thanks for sharing.
Being cheap is OK. Being a clueless sanctimonious condescending douchebag is just Vlad's MO.

Whaaat?!! Roll that? Must've been some crazy ass good rider ;)
This is a great thread. I just love it when nature, bikes and artistic expression come together. Art, function and nature - does it get any better?
I saw this rock sphere on Galiano Island last summer, does anyone know if it's by the same artist?
There is some really cool stuff in that movie. I saw it in the theater and just got totally lost in it. The creations that he does in the intertidal are so neat, espically while they interact with the rising waters.
I see slats as art sometimes.
One neat thing we did was compression fit a beam for a skybridge.
Could you elaborate on this technique (compression fit)? I think I get the idea, but some more photos and an explanation would be rad.
a new post into an existing stump, I presume. The opening at the front was to allow you to chain saw at 45 degree angles to create the mortise?
Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.
