Actually did some maintenance on the tall cans a year or so ago and one of the supposed originals came out of the wood work and basically came unglued. Never have heard from him again. Just added a little ramp ride around in one spot, fixed the line before the long log and made a bridge over the mud hole on the bottom. He took that out to so you had to ride the mud hole. Love the trail so happy to keep it rollin but what do you do, I dont know they guy.

while we're on the subject of Cypress trails and past builders … the guys who built the stuff on 5th also built the Upper / Lower Tallcans lines. so these trails no longer have active maintainers also. although i hear that Lower Tallcans is rarely ridden?

Yes, I rode LTC on Saturday for the first time in a couple years. It's quite overgrown, but the trail is in good shape.
