Well after seeing the worlds largest gongshow involving buses, cars and snow after work today I'm in a slightly sarcastic frame of mind….so I will say that Pipeline will be experiencing sandstorms at the moment. Watch out on blind corners as you will most likely hit a camel….

WHAT THE FUHUCK DO YOU THINK FROMME WILL LOOK LIKE AT THE MOMENT????:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

the bridal path was looking almost rideable last week from all the foot traffic packing the snow down into a hard-ish surface but with the rain this week its gonna be all slush. But maybe after that it'll melt down to dirt.

Shredding pow is rad but this snow down at sea level is just useless crap. I can't even ride my bike to work

We were thinking of snowshoeing out the road from grouse and snowboarding down the access road (mountain highway)I can't believe people are asking how the trails are look in your backyard, there is probably a lot more up the mountain.
It doesn't usually happen in these parts however, The weather determines the end and beginning of mtb season

I snowshoed up Burnaby mountain today (water main to Mel's then up Poplar) - trails are covered in wet cement., and watch out for falling branches/trees.

With snow shoes off the first switchback, the snow was still knee high. You could probably ride the drop in into Floppy Bunny and then stop.

Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.

so, that was a lovely 45 minute hike-a-bike.

of course, where I entered the trees was deceptively bare, so I'm all like, "sweet, should be a decent ride." ohhhhh no, it's the shits. oh well, torrential rain the next few days ought to take care of things.
