From the TORCA Facebook page today:

Someone has been cutting the fencing down at the hairpin on Burke Mtn. If this continues, we will lose access to the trails. Wesbild has been working with the community to keep the trails on their property viable but if vandalism continues (including removal of survey posts) these trails will be closed permanently. Please do us a solid and share this post with everyone you know who bikes or hikes on Burke Mtn.

Hey, with the incoming rainy winter season at the door, are there any specific trails which are recommended and ones to avoid as far as preventing trail damage?

Hey guys thanks for giving me such great advice. I think I will go skid down starz now that it's really wet and muddy. This is going to be awesome!

Saturday:
We rode lower slayer - (Entering off the steep grade spur mid way up) - It was damp, but very rideable.
We then did Dawg - In great shape
We then did Overtime - In amazing shape
We then did Garbage - In great shape

I was very impressed with how the trails were riding…However, with the rain yesterday and planned today, I think it's going to be pretty damp…

Good luck!

Honestly, if you actually said sensible things once in a while, people would respond to you. PM me if youhave specific trail questions.

Harper road is back to 100% after the rain storm blow out if anyone cares.

Not that they've actually fixed the real problems, but the roads nice again

When you are ready, the trail will find you.

Honestly, given the style of BBT, (Old school with very little build up at all), I'd say people should stay off it in the winter…feels like it would turn into quite the mess otherwise.

Whatevs, boomforeal part deux.

Anyway, as far as I'm concerned I will be able to figure out what's rideable and what's not on my own. If it's a muddy pit, or eroding under a rushing river, I will bypass it. Otherwise it's on. And it's good that Starz has the don't ride when wet instructions. Perhaps all sensitive trails should get similar treatment?

Wrong. Always.
