It would involve pedalling up the bypass to Sprockids, then climbing up Lower Flume, Upper Flume, Sidewinder, 102, 103. That would likely be your return route as well. You could cut out riding down the bypass by following the sign that says "To Langdale Ferry" or something like that.
yeah this, probably the best out-and-back xc ride i know. you basically follow the blue blazes on the trees all the way up to the bNk logging road. once there you can play around on the roberts creek trails: red barron for some high speed chunder; charlie brown, pumpkin patch, etc. for some mellow flow; dmz for big hits; up and over on 103 for more xc goodness. but the best part of the day is probably ripping down 102/sidewinder on the way back. bliss
i've ridden the "trails" from sprokids down to langdale a few times now and i have to say, unless i've got the dog and want to spare him ripping down the hill on the highway, i prefer to road (especially for the view)
