I noticed that a few months ago.

Noticed those shitty jumps are still on the side of that trail (not the ones on your trail that we were talking about a few weeks ago)

Also rode 454 today, that was the spur I looked at a few weeks ago

I know where it is, just haven't ventured that way to go ride it.

Should have said years not weeks about 454, not sure why I typed that

Yeah a couple craters have been created on some of the ladder rung style bridges on 103

In case anyone is wondering, 102 or whatever the trail name that goes to sprockids park is in mint condition. The whole B[HTML_REMOVED]K zone is riding well.

Thinking about taking a trip over there one of these weekends…Can I get recommendation for an XC loop? I have only ridden the marathon race course.

Either or. If there is something doable walking on I would rather do that.

It would involve pedalling up the bypass to Sprockids, then climbing up Lower Flume, Upper Flume, Sidewinder, 102, 103. That would likely be your return route as well. You could cut out riding down the bypass by following the sign that says "To Langdale Ferry" or something like that.

yeah this, probably the best out-and-back xc ride i know. you basically follow the blue blazes on the trees all the way up to the bNk logging road. once there you can play around on the roberts creek trails: red barron for some high speed chunder; charlie brown, pumpkin patch, etc. for some mellow flow; dmz for big hits; up and over on 103 for more xc goodness. but the best part of the day is probably ripping down 102/sidewinder on the way back. bliss

i've ridden the "trails" from sprokids down to langdale a few times now and i have to say, unless i've got the dog and want to spare him ripping down the hill on the highway, i prefer to road (especially for the view)

Pretty sad to see all the flagging tape on the upper half of 102 up to the Lookout, looks like the upper half of Red will be logged as well RIP, that's a real shame :(
