Sunshine Coast 2013 trail conditions

Sprockkids seemed great a couple of weeks ago but highway 102 was hammered with deadfall. trees down every 10 meters or so from the mid point onwards. We tried hiking up to B[HTML_REMOVED]K but that was too deep in snow so battled on through the deadfall on 102. B[HTML_REMOVED]K was almost ride able from the end of 102 but got better around the clear cut down towards the mid point of viper etc.

Any news on the deadfall along 102? Is is safe to assume it's still not worth it?

Planning a trip out to the Sunshine Coast (from the mainland) for some riding in a couple weeks. Does anyone know if 102 is clear now or is there still too much deadfall? Also, how high is the snow level - is 103 and red baron ridable?

Thanks, so much…

I just surveyed 102 from b[HTML_REMOVED]k side top chunk is good suckered me in. Then it gets to the bombed out zones.. Major hike a bike.. I bailed out too lame. I expect it will remain that way until bc bike race goes thru. They always open up their race line…

Anybody know if 102 and 103 have been cleared yet? Heading out in the morning.

103 is clear of dead fall but the high point still had a few feet of snow in spots.

All the trails we rode were clear except for cunning stunts which is in poor shape.

serious? i've never heard anyone call them such, but when i head over to ride the trails from langdale over to roberts creek and back, i think of all the different trail systems as being unified by the mountain they ring the base of: elphinstone

Well, in that case I've been riding new trails all over Mt. Elphinstone;)
