is that the drop on the trail in bnk right by the road. like before Biggles sender?
That thing nearly killed me! felt like i was going too slow, so stuck a couple of pedals in, over shot the thing to flat!

It was looking real nice today. Good work on that. Can't wait till it opens up!

I'd assume 7-Up is 1/2 under snow and has some serious windfall on it. Plus the wood is sketchy now

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.

I'd say yes.

Pumpkin patch, Black Tower, Mach, Janets, DnZ, Tubes were good today. Williams was not. The bypass to Mach was getting worked on so it was ok, but the fireroad down to the right hand corner that hikes into lower Guys Gulch was ok (snow and branches, but passable). Didn't try to ride much else, since I bet the windfall has wrecked some serious havoc and any trail we didn't hit.

sounds like the roberts creek fsr trails are good to go (though i imagine they'll be a bit soggy this weekend). anyone know if sidewinder/hwy102/3 are climbable/passable from sprokids?

Sprockkids seemed great a couple of weeks ago but highway 102 was hammered with deadfall. trees down every 10 meters or so from the mid point onwards.

Sounds not so good right now unless something has changed recently

hmmm/damn. was hoping to head over this weekend for a day-long xc jaunt, but that's less enticing if we can't climb from sprockids.

uncle dukey, if we do end up coming over, can you pm me a good spot to leave an offering to the ssc trail fairies?

are you flirtn with me?

all the trail faieries here need is the appreciation and love of the fellow riders..if you meet one face to face pop a beer in his hand..;)

but if you are really feeln the need or its like a million dollars ..under any of the structures on dnz or seven works pretty good.

I was planning on riding this area last Saturday but decided to forgo (based on the above post) and rode the Wakefield Creek Matrix and HMB areas instead. We were staying in HMB, but I can see how the drive could be a deterrent. Regardless, the trails were in amazing shape. Rode all day Saturday and saw only one other group. With the exception of a couple trees down on easy street, there was literally no blow down.

we usually park in horseshoe bay or bus and ride from the ferries and back

but given how cold and wet it's been the last few days in the city i imagine everything will have a few inches of snow/slush, which will make for a long, cold, wet day

Mach chicken got re-worked today by 3 ATVers that decided to drive up it. It is now loose, churned up, and there are rocks everywhere. Oh and any sort of lip or end of corner is now flattened or rounded out.

Thanks fellow outdoor user group…
