So the wife and I are planning to head over to her folks place in Gibsons for some riding the first week of April.

How did the trails fare after the windstorm?

The trails in Campbell got hammered by Monday's storm, we have hundreds of trees down on our trails. If the SSC is in a similar state of disrepair, I'll postpone the trip and stay home and keep inhaling the 50:1 exhaust.

Went up yesterday and there is some noteworthy blow down. There's one on upper tube that needs a chainsaw or a few guys to move and there's some on chicken. We built up the business side of one of the fallen trees with some sticks to create a little jump but it needs a chainsaw for sure. Look before you leap.

Riding is fine. Random blow downs in lots of spots. When is this paid for trailwork that i keep hearing about going to kick in anyways?

When I was there 2 weeks ago there was deep snow going into Mach Chicken but clear the whole way down. Has the snow resided?? Thinking of going over again this weekend but not if I can't go up higher to ride Red Baron etc.

Oh yeah and theres no bridge on 2001. Shouldn't be an issue for most non-Danny Mac types of riders

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.
