were those your tracks in the snow (Ardents?) heading up that way? i ended up riding today and had a great time!
did AM, Pseudo, Legacy, Half Nelson, AM again, McCloud, Lowdown.
the lower trails were in great shape, and Half Nelson was ripping fast! AM was a bit slick, but it was fun playing in the snow on the way up
Yeah, Ardents. Another good day out there eh.
Just heard that Hybrid, Anthithesis and at least some of Cortez will be logged soon. Probably in January. Pretty disappointed that Antithesis only lasted one season and Hybrid only 2. I guess we'll have to see what remains after it's done, but I suspect not much.
How is Squamish looking after the recent dump? Wondering if the top parts of Half Nelson/AM are buried?
an fresh inch of fluff on the ground at Cat Lake yesterday.

Definitely. Not deep, but snowline is just above the Uni today. EDIT_ just came back from ride. Snow starts midway up Legacy climb, but was able to pedal all the way to Half Nelson entrance. Probably about 2-3 inches of snow there. Variable amounts under the canopy, with close to 4 more inches on the way tonight/tomorrow. Starting to get to the final rides of the year perhaps.
Funny, Pseudo Tsuga was totally tracked out, quite a few folks out enjoying the snowy racetrack. Halfway down, turns to perfect dirt.
Rode Cakewalk to full Nelson yesterday. Cakewalk had maybe an inch or two on it but the traction was excellent (not sure how much was the ground, how much was my muddy marys).
Full Nelson had maybe a half inch at the top but barely any through most of the trail, super hard packed and super fast! Only thing that was kind of annoying was having to stop every minute or so on the hike up to full nelson to clear the snow out of the frame so the tires actually roll!
How are the low-elevation trails around Valleycliff right now?
there is 6" of frozen snow all through town down to sea level.
