Just pulled 4 of them off my riding buddy. I am fairly sure he picked them up on Burnaby Mountain. This is a first never thought ticks were an issue here more interior where its drier.

I pulled a tick off my dog that was fully engorged a few days back. I could only surmise it came from Squamish as well. 10 years riding there and never had a problem. Seems like this super dry weather is turning it into interior weather.

I have pulled off about 7 so far this year in Pemby off of our 2 critters. We got the monthly pills for May and June that will keep the ticks off of them. This is the most ticks I have seen in all my years of having furry critters.

Thanks for the heads up fellas

I just recently gave my dog a pill that protects your hound three months.
75.00 bucks at my vet. You can also do a topical monthly dose too if you dont wanna give him a pill.
Good for piece of mind for little buddy.

Any further tick updates? Has this calmed down by now?

Thinking of hitting Squish for some laps this weekend.

My dog is a f-in tick magnet.
And he has not had any for awhile now.
Can't say you are safe, but based on a 1 dog test subject, taken to tickville nearly everyday, things look good.

Pulled a tick off my dog today.

Not exactly sure where it came from but it was on the Shore.

Thx for the heads-up. Do you find them by sight, or feel, or? My dog is furry!
