…Like even suitable for a little kid on a 16"-wheeled bmx?
I'd say so. I saw a couple moms with their tiny kids riding the trail.

Did a huge lap on Saturday that was really fun. Not sure on all the names, but we rode up to Galactic, the Corners, Tracks from Hell, four lakes, mike's loop, 50 shades, Rupert (which was amazing), and finished off with Roller Coaster.
Wild how dry and dusty some of the trails were. Rupert really sticks out as a special trail. So fun.
Did almost the same loop yesterday (but we shuttled to Galactic; nice work on the pedal!). Hit up Man Boobs as well. Man I love Squamish.
And yes, Rupert was definitely the highlight of that lap. So good!

You bet. Start at the lower entrance of Alice lake road. You might walk them over the water but its a great spot for that right now.
Rupert's is dreamy for sure.
WTF, Over?
Shout out to Mark Bunyan coaching.
The Wednesday after school mtb program 6-7 years olds rode up from Alice lake to Man Boobs tonight.
Pretty funny picking up kids and hearing them talking about man boobs.
Love the new moderate trails that open up more diversity in the trail system.
Squamish gets better every year.
So I finally pushed the dh sled up to intestinal f. to suffer a flat on the first gap… It was eye opening to be able to ride all the steep rock rolls (intestinal[HTML_REMOVED]hueso) with a flat in the rear. You hardly even need the rear brake… Those trails are just amazing!
Been meaning to do the same. Any idea if these two trails are on the current map? Also been meaning to pick one of those up.

Download the Trailmapps app if you have a smrtphone, most of the newer trails in this thread have been added within the last couple of weeks. The GPS helps too…hard to find more value for your vert than in Squamish these days!
First time riding Squamish today, wow what a great day.
Rode Full Nelson, Angry Midget, Half Nelson, Pseudo Tsuga. All fantastic trails, must get out of Fraser Valley more often!!!

Can anyone recommend a somewhat lengthy XC route to take some beginners on (green/blue rated trails) with mostly singletrack? Only ridden Squamish a few times but I think that stringing together some trails in the Alice Lake area would make for a suitable ride (would Wonderland be a good trail? - never ridden it before but sounds like what I am looking for). Also considering Fred, plum smugglers, WOM but haven't ridden these either and don't know how difficult they are (they are rated as blues…). Any ideas would be appreciated.

I did this route recently with my gf:
Alice Lake - Bob McIntosh - Rock and Roll - Rob's/Cliff's Corners - Man Boobs - back down to Alice Lake - White Rabbit - Wonderland - climb dump trails back to Alice Lake
That should be about 30 km with a lot of singletrack, though some time on roads.
You could also, after Corners or Man Boobs in the sequence above ride Roller Coaster- Jack's to Alice Lake then a Wonderland - Dump Trails loop.
I can't comment on Fred, Plum Smugglers or WOM.

Exactly what I am looking for, thanks!
I would not take beginners on Fred/Plum/WOM
Second that. Fred-Plum- WOM give even experienced riders fits on some days. They are not black diamond in the sense of big drops, slabs, and structures. However, they are rooty, twisty, physically demanding trails squarely in the realm of xc plus. I'm not sure what you mean by "beginner", but if they are new to mountain biking, and are still working on their blue skills, there are many trails that will be more friendly and less frustrating for them. Bulldozer is right on target with the suggestions.
i rode pseudo pseuga with my family on sunday. last time i rode it - early last fall? - the trail was buff and tacky, so i thought it would be a good beginner/intermediate ride after last week's rain. but conditions were really dry and quite loose, and the wife and boy had a tough time on the middle section
rode fred, wom and somewhere over there afterwards and all were awesome, as usual. squamish xc plus ftw :)

Anybody know what's up with all the skis near the view point on Galactic/Plastic?
Hey,
Wanted to come and ride Rupert and others in this area ;however I see there is an enduro race. I wanted to ride Credit line and Gouranga which are part of the Enduro but could avoid these.
My concern is am I able to ride Mashiter and Tracks from Hell so that I can loop back for Value Added after completing Rupert.
Both Mashiter and Tracks from Hell are part of the Enduro, to get the Enduro riders over to Credit Line…Will I be allowed on Mashiter etc?
I guess what I'm asking is will there be trail closures to the Public?
