Whats the best site for weather for the chilcotins? The tyax website seems to use snow-forecast which i dont trust enough to commit to driving 2.5 hours. TWN for Gold Bridge seems to be way off of what snow-forecast is saying as well.

It may be fine down low, but really, any time after Labour day, if you are in the high alpine, then be prepared for snow on the passes.

Weather Network for Gold Bridge, then plan on lower temps. than than their forecast low due to higher elevation.

Over the long weekend, it was below zero every night and about 15 deg during the day.

In places where it was in shade all day, the frost [HTML_REMOVED] frozen puddles didn't melt off.

I expect if it rained up there last night or tonight, it might be snow.

(This was for 1400-1900 meters)

In place of turkey and stuffing, we had sunshine and singletrack over the long weekend.

rode taylor eldarado lick today. all time. puking snow and howling winds at the top of lick creek. 3 inches of snow at Eldorado pass, camel looked to be shut down for the winter with all the new snow. lick was hero dirt the whole way down, totally different to 6 days ago when we were there last…

Tyax is closed as of today, the carpenter lake road is fucking sketchy in places, but also has some seriously amazing scenery along the lake…
