Snow line on Cypress

I'll try to keep a running tally of the snow line on Cypress this winter.

Right now, it's BAD!!

I feel that the line is higher west of the power lines (5th side) than it is around Wild Cherry and the Roaches.

The snow is 3+ feet deep at the third switchback. BLT is barely walkable it's so deep - forget about carrying a bike let alone riding one. The snow isn't quite as deep in the woods but shuttling wont help!

Snow is about 18 inches at the top of Roach Clip/upper Tall cans.

Maybe 6 inches at bottom of Upper Tall Cans

Highest trail that I think is fully ridable and accessible is Wutang, but you'll still have trouble getting to it. I'd say Roach clip is possibly rideable but I don't know how you'd get there with a bike

Not everyone can afford to go ski or actually want to ski…

I went skiing last night and was wondering how bad it could be in there. Thanks for the info.

I think you can get wutang by going up the service road and cutting in from there. With the rain today it should be getting better. Last night it was only snowing at the top hairpin.

I'll ski but would rather ride.

But I seriously would have been able to ski down BLT!

The access road would be a grind of a walk up with a bike, even to Wutang. Snow is still deepish outside of the woods. You'd be walking in wet slush.

I was at Cypress tonight. Snowing all the way down to the highway.

The trails in and around Upper Tall Cans are open for business!

BLT to the top of UTC - only the odd section that still has snow on it. 98% rideable. Itll probably be 100% tomorrow.
Upper Tall Cans - only the first few feet have snow. Rest is 100% rideable.
Roaches - look 100% rideable
Wutang - 100% rideable

Dont know about Dirty Harry, Slippery, Wild Cherry but my guess is that they will also be okay.
