Pedalled up Old Buck to Severed. Conditions were awesome. A tiny bit of snow at the top of Severed but totally fine after the first bit. Now it's foggy and snowing mildly.

There's nothing better than an Orangina after cheating death with Digger.

Prime conditions on Seymour today. Not very much snow compared to Fromme.

Just got back into town. How are the lower XC trails - Bridle, SnS, etc?

It's clear to the top of the BP. Just some ice on the upper woodwork, but the ground is a soggy mess.

Last night the trails were pretty much frozen. I rode Bridle, SNS and back. All good. Might snow tonight though.

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

Some snow last night on Bridle, Hyannis SnS but not enough to affect riding much. I think I spun out twice in places I don't normally do so. I would guess that snow might be an issue higher up though.

Only a little slush on the upper BP. Severed was great except the woodwork with compact snow.

Looking to ride upper Seymour this Saturday, whereabouts does the snow/slush start?

Out in the Valley may be the only option?

Rode circuit 8, bridle, sticks [HTML_REMOVED] stones, old buck [HTML_REMOVED] severed yesterday and it was pretty much all good. Bit of mud on severed, but no sign of snow anywhere.

Only issue I came across was circuit 8. The John Thompson and the drop down to fishermans are pretty good (if a little beaten up in regards to the latter), but circuit 8 itself is a boggy mess. A few holes were eating 29er wheels up to the hub.

Any trees down from the winds?

Rode TNT, Dale's, and C-Buster. All in good shape. Bit of crusty snow on TNT for the most part, but it was very dry and grippy. There's a tree down on the powerline climb. Small one that you can hop over with wagon wheels.

I rode Bridle SNS Will's and other stuff last night. Lots of branches down. A few dead trees too. Please take a little time to chuck a few branches off the trails as you ride. If we all chuck a handful of crap off the trail each ride it will be cleared out in no time.
