New exit on C-buster canoe! Don't worry the chinky old skool line is still there and we put more duff in the hole that were forming.

That was a nice surprise on my Saturday morning ride. Much appreciated!

Huuuggee tree down on Bridal Path, between exit of Pangor and Old Buck. Completely blocking trail and requires climbing over or under it. Probably around 2 feet + diameter

If only there was a volunteer group interested in watching out for the trails instead of disbanding due to negative feedback about their T-shirts from the online user base….

If they were true and honest in their intentions they wouldn't let bad publicity get in the way of doing good deeds.

I guess if they were disbanded based on bad publicity, maybe their intentions were more selfish.

we can all do that whether we're part of a volunteer group or not. just post it to the nsmba's fb page or maybe they could have a trail conditions tab on their website where people could post this stuff? twitter? lots of options for the public to report this sort of stuff, the key is creating the culture to get people to want to do it.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

So, Trailforks is the system to report issues like this, and the more people that use it to report a downed tree, the more successfully the trails will be maintained. The tree will be gone today, but only because 6061 has already posted it as a Trailforks report. Thanks!

Any one can create a report on Trailforks about trail condition - please log in and go for it. There's a good chance that somebody will do something about it.

Or, anyone who's interested in keeping the trails in great shape can sign up to Trailforks and help report conditions. No one is scouring twitter, forums, Pinterest and Facebook looking for trail reports.

Exactly… anyone can contribute!

Trailforks is also a great way to let a builder of a trail know when something is up so they can go and fix it.

We had a great trail day on lower Severed yesterday but have left the trail closed (below the Shorn intersection) to let the gold bed in before it sees bike traffic. I respectfully ask that riders stay off lower Severed until the weekend. The trail will be better for it.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sustainable will be around forever.

Acklands Grainger has adopted Pangor this year. First step is to replace this rotted structure that leads into the big rock.

Itll be closed off as of Sunday until replaced.
