It was bloody cold yesterday, but it made for some good conditions. Amazingly few frozen puddles of standing water. Kind of a testament to how good the trail building/maintenance is going.

Ride, don't slide.

it would be intersting to see who's riding rogue trails.

Strava shows all…

Yeah read the rules!Maps of loamers and illegal trails aren't being posted and are only available to land owners…. And of course the bros in the know.. But the bros would never actually ride them.

Greenland is getting some work. We continue to work on drainage

Not a lot of people were riding boogieman on the weekend.

Lee was getting all nostalgic about Bears old structure

Awesome work on that trail by Daniel Lui and the NSMBA!

Are you expecting an instant upload of the GPS track? This sounds pretty demanding, entitled, and impatient to me.

And your comment sounds pissy and bitchy!

Can't we all just ride bikes?!

So that is the name of the trail, huh. I saw the partially finished bridge section a few weeks ago while riding up from Salamander onto Rapid Transit. Good to know the name of it.

This lower section of Seymour is one of my favorite areas. Started with Sticks and Stones, then Salamander, Rapid Transit and now Academy Climb trail.

Great things happening on the local hills. Thanks to all those that made this happen.

Point taken. But I'll take doing trail work over riding.

Edit - guess the point I was trying to make earlier is that the NSMBA and those who put their time in building the Academy Climb are volunteers. I think it's pretty unreasonable to expect volunteers to be so quick with the mapping/sharing/etc/…. Great news that it's now on Trailforks - definitely exceeds my expectations.

Nice!!! So now you can do a sweet loop back to Rapid Transit and the last bit of Salamander. Thanks to those who put in the time and effort to build the trail. See that wasn't that hard……………..:werd:

maybe this would have all been better if it could have been taken as:

"Is there a map of the new trail online anywhere?"

….. But then we all had to go and get all #itswinteronthensmbboard on it…..

Damn, lower Seymour has become an awesome challenging zone to pedal… you can easily spend an afternoon in there, without backtracking or getting bored much. Academy looks like a nice addition, especially when the snow line is creeping down. And riding year round is fortunate, huge thanks to everyone who made it a lot more enjoyable than it used to be cheers. PS I'm ok with the chopped log on Cardiac.
