The new entrance off the powerlines spits you out right in front of the Severed/C-Buster split so you can access either trail.

Is the new Severed entrance off powerlines past the Pingu entrance?

If you're coming out of Corkscrew to the powerlines, turn right and head downhill (rather than going left to Pingu). You'll cross the Mushroom trail climb that goes up to Ned's on the powerlines, and the entrance to Severed will be on you left just a little bit down.

If you're riding up BP, go past Pangor, Bogeyman, and when BP turns left where you used to access Severed (you can still go this way), keep going straight (up the mushroom trail), ride under the powerlines, and turn left on the powerline access.

Thanks, I'll ride up Old Buck to powerlines so I'll pass Pingu entrance and keep going.
Cheers

BTW I am loving the new work on the lower part of Severed. Thank you very much!

Much agreed. With the little bit of rain and some recent work on the trails they are about as prime as could be.:beer::beer:

Thanks guys. I have a little more work planned over the next month to finish the Severed re-animation but should be finished for Thanksgiving weekend. If you want to lend a hand I have trail days on Sept 20th and Oct 5th, 9am at Old Buck parking lot.

Sustainable will be around forever.

Bummer, more sign vandalism. I think this was probably random as there were beer cans around. Noticed this last tuesday, was ok before Sept. 24th, the last time I was by this spot.

Must have been windy on the shore yesterday.

Tree down on slippery salamander kind of half way through the trail.
Tree down on forever after, on the top half, guessing 100 - 200meters in.

Wow the rework to the Old Buck climb and west on the BP is awesome. Now when looped with Severed, my favourite hot lap just got even better. Amazing work on lower Severed. The eroded stuff at the bottom was getting so variable that I couldn't reliably punch off any of the ledges for fear of landing on some new chunder. Now it seems way more consistent. Awesome.

post more of the them up as you all find them - makes it a lot easier for "them" to get to. It's good to know if they should be accessed from the bottom or top of a trail for least hike.

^^ and maybe also whether a saw is required. I've seen lots down but most of them are just sloppy wet hunks of rotten wood that one person can move.

One person movers can be cleared by any rider. I'm only talking about ones that need cutting.
