Sharon, do any of the Book's proceeds also go to the NSMBA?

For the first edition we asked about partnering with the NSMBA but since there are trails in the book that are not recognized by the land managers, trails we felt needed to be on the map for navigation and safety purposes, they felt they could not be a part of this project.

We talked again about partnering but since this continues to be their position we will not be partnering with them for the books.

We took it upon ourselves to give the NSMBA money from the Apps.

We have given money to builders not supported by the NSMBA since they are working on trails that are not recognized by the land managers.

This should help you out. Maps are available at the local bike shops. or as an App

10% of App proceeds to the NSMBA!

I have the book, and had the app when i had an apple phone. AFAIK nothing for android platform. THe trails i mentioned were not the same as what i was seeing out there thrusday. I would get updated app for android if available in a moment.

WTF, Over?

unfortunately, not for the north shore… we do have updated maps in some shops. Not sure who has them right now though.

Should probably release one for android users… A lot of android users out there now days.

Whatever happened to the trail map page on nsmba.ca? Maps aren't there anymore and all I see is trail report and some pinkbike login page

One thing of concern: there's a huge tree that looks like it was blown over, but got caught up in a bunch of other trees and didn't come all the way down. It's precariously suspended above the first climbing only section on Bridle on the way back from Hyannis. Not sure who to alert for that.

As of this morning, said tree has now fallen down on to the trail

Friday March 7:

One tree had been pushed over on Pangor near the start of the second half of the trail. If you ride it, take a saw if you have one. It won't be hard to clear.

Has anyone been down Pangor recently? does this need a saw still? Will a handsaw do it?

Trail work happening on High School league today. Please select an alternate trail to ride, or come join us for an hour. Lots of muddy holes to fill in!

Thanks to DUNBAR for making it possible!

Typically around May long weekend it's dry enough to open.

Cbc still closed as of yesterday,
I also rode Neds which was like riding through a stream literally 60% of it. Highschool trail is buffed out but the bottom out is a muddy nightmare.

Wondering what condition the trail's in. Is it ok to ride it this time of year?

Pain is temporary; quitting lasts forever.

go for it! Pangor is good to go year round, although a bit wet sometimes in the rainy season. The new Old Buck/Baden Powell climb up to Pangor is in great shape now too.

A certain local pro has uploaded a pic of himself riding the log this past weekend on Instagram, so it must be properly open and good to go right? All fine and dandy?

Ride, don't slide.
