Are there any plans in the works to clean up the bottom of Severed ?

Did anyone see the pics on Facebook today? Is there a new entrance off the power lines so that you avoid the BP?

Yes there is - rode it today and I thought it was awesome, big thanks to the builders! Fun little flowy section of trail and a much more enjoyable to get to Severed vs. the BP entrance.

Severed reboot is nice … the descent goes through a series of step-drops (all rollable on a hardtail!).

the area has changed a bit but I go the way this guy is going

Haha … that's Jim Campbell, probably enjoying his retirement (?) these days.

So how does one access Severed from the powerlines? I normally ride up Old Buck and then along the BP. Is there a better way?
Thanks

Go up a little further to the powerlines instead of turning down the rough bit of BP, turn left at the powerlines. You can't miss it though there's no sign yet.

Thanks for that. Do you mean continue past the BP on the trail towards Dale's / Ned's until hitting the power lines?

Anyone know if CBC is open yet?

I have already emailed NSMBA, but have not received a response yet.

Ride, don't slide.

I can't picture that. Wouldn't you have to cut across C-Buster to access Severed from the powerlines?

The new entrance off the powerlines spits you out right in front of the Severed/C-Buster split so you can access either trail.

Rode Forever to HS last night, both in good condition and riding nicely. Great work by all.
