Happy New Year NSMB! Pedalled up to Boogieman and Pangor today. Both are in great condition. Thanks Tapsters! Baden Powell from the Old Buck junction is pretty solid now.

Great to hear! Thank Ryders Eyewear, Muddbunnies Riding Club, Steed Cycles, Devinci and BMO!
Is Forever After still closed? Was debating this today and decided against going down that way.
nope, that was a short term closure due to fresh work. The respect is appreciated though!
Fresh work on the entrance to Severed/CB off BP that cleans up a really awkward section but keeps the steep and fun factor. The first flat-ish section of Severed is running really nicely with all the fresh gold - thanks trail fairies!
Would that be the rooty steep just after coming off the BP, but just before the turn off to CB?
Ride, don't slide.

Yes. The line now goes straight down a new piece of rock work on to a new bridge, rather than the right turn through the roots and rocks to almost full stop at the bottom to go left toward the old bridge.
ex brother in law busted his arm on that corner a while back. I bet he'd be happy.

Awesome. As fun as it was to smash down that bit, the hard left at the bottom was a real flow/speed sapper. I'm stoked to give the new line a go this weekend!

Thanks for the kind words Morgman, glad you like it. Here's some pics:

The old line has been narrowed right down and is intended for hikers.

nice work skip, protecting those big ol tree roots!
That looks awesome. Is the bottom robust enough that you could drop off the rocks rather than roll them?
Very nice work, I see you went with my suggestion to rock it in. Did you rock all the way to the bridge? Love seeing such nice naturalization afterwards as well how it's choked in! Big props all around for the work being done! Cheers!

Well done. I walked yesterday because I couldn't see what was there from above. Smoother but not really dumbed down. A rider still needs to be awake.
Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

The run out is built with 2ft+ of rock under it so it's strong enough but you wouldn't want to drop it. By the time you got fast enough to clear the rocks you'd be landing on the upslope to the bridge (Dansition).
