Will be rebuilt. There may be some changes - but I'm hoping to restore everything to original.

You're amazing.

Best trail on the Shore.

Great work on one of the lower eroded sections of bottletop!

Wow. Motivational…

Will be rebuilt. There may be some changes - but I'm hoping to restore everything to original. Getting cedar is going to be a royal B-I-T-C-H though….the only reason I used hemlock was there were no good deadfall cedar stringers anywhere around there. Im hoping that storm last winter produced some good material. So far I haven't cut a single tree yet.

Props to the land-owners for their approach to managing this. I fully support them in their right to make the decision to get rid of the hemlock.

be up there tomorrow afternoon beginning the search for moar cedar. itll be real hot. I will need cold beers.

How much beer do you need? I know a few people that would be more than happy to contribute.

Do you have access to a helicopter?

I'm ignoring Smedley.

Maybe a gift card would be more suitable to a heli drop.

A little slick today but conditions should be pretty much perfect this weekend. Hope this rain lowers the fire risk.

Rode Ned's last night and Dales tonight, was sad to see more features removed from these trails. The A-Frame on Ned's and the optional skinny-too-log-too-drop after the gap jump area. On Dales the steep wood roll on the top section was removed yesterday it seems, it was still there and riding fine on Monday. Seems the trails getting the new Metrovan sign are being gutted.

Suprised they took out the A-frame on Dales. I actually helped fix the transition at at a tap trail day with Digger so I know it was in good shape. Why would this be fixed at a MV sanctioned TAP day and then later removed??

Why would they take out the A-frame on Neds and not cut out the log? That's why it was put there in the first place???

Doesn't any thought or planning go into these decisions?

This doesn't bode well for replacing the structures on Lola…

Major bummer on the Dales a-frame. That feature added to the trail and will be missed. I didn't have a close look but it didn't seem very rickety to me. Surprising…

Really no point in riding Ned's now. A very well-known trail reduced to nothing.
