Has Cabin Trail been cleared yet? I'm making tentative plans for a hike up that way on Sunday, might have a go at shifting some logs if any of them are a one-man job.

That would be awesome Embra. Most are movable by one, and I doubt it's cleared. Hike on buddy! Just leave the two big cedars. You'll not be able to move them with one person.

Hmm, oh well, think someone got there before me, msot stuff cleared except a real big one down on the flat section of Cabin, and a couple of small ones still need sawed further up. Mostly rideable though although there's still some slushy snow up on TNT and pinch flat alley is currently the blowdown apocalypse!

I didn't know TNT was ever that "rideable" :o

Monday noonish - snow started on BP just before power line, 1cm of slush getting to Severed. It should be melted by now. Severed was a muddy and sloppy at the top but fine after first third.

Rode Pangor Friday evening and there was 1-2" of snow at the top, but only patches on the trail.

Great work being done on Bridle, get out there on Sunday morning and help with the Trail Day, 930am at Hyannis!!

Early season trail Karma…

Boogieman was prime on Friday. The big log over the swamp was pretty greasy, though. Old school shore gnar.

Was out riding the lower trail on Seymour last night. Hadn't been on Bridal in a while.

Like the new work and alternate climb routes, especially as I was lacking energy. What I like best is that the original routes have been left in place. I usually like those short steep climbs as a test to gauge how I am riding, but they were a welcome sight last night. The smell of the new cedar was also very nice.

Unless someone took the sign down today - no. There is still snow on the ground at the top of the trail.

How does one get from Bridal Path over to Bottletop? I managed to get there by going down Powerline off Hyannis, followed that down a little way then took a right onto a sketchy, possibly closed trail (based on the debris thrown at the other end). It spit me out at the end of Ned's/Greenland junction, and was able to figure it out from there.

I'm assuming I need to join up with Ned's a bit further up, but don't see anything on any maps that make that connection. Is there a better option?

Bottletop is the coolest btw.
