You ain't lying. Today was one of those days where I just didn't want to stop pedaling.
Seriously. Good times today.
Too crowded on Sunday. Time to twin a few bridges on Bridle Path!
Cabin Trail btw Neds and Dirty Diapers is virtually impassable with a bike. Some serious chainsaw work is needed, and tricky work too.
What a ride today!! RaceFace staff ride with a German in tow! Harald Philip of the "lets hike our bikes up the Alps and ride down ridiculously steep lines" fame. He's presenting at the VIMFF tomorrow night.
We rode Pingu, Pangor, back up and into C-buster - proper - the way it should be ridden, and into Blair Range….all trails superb!!! Go ride!!!

Being that I've only ever ridden C-Buster once, just last weekend, I'm curious to know what the proper way to ride it is. Can someone explain? Mr. Simmons?
Ride, don't slide.
The proper (intended) way is to send it into the steeps with ample speed and scare yourself silly, rather than riding Severed D and coming in late, which now seems to be the route of choice evident from the amount of traffic coming in from the Severed off ramp. Those steep corners are some of the best on Seymour, too bad it only last 17 seconds! I guess 17 seconds in heaven is better than 7!

I didn't quite send it but that is how I rode it the first time, those steeps are pretty long when you don't have Mr. Simmons' skillz. I bailed on a couple and was still quicker down than the quys who went of the severed route at the same time

One of the few places you can still find dirt on Seymour. Also once you get comfortable with it, sending it on the am bike in a half head is some of the most fun you can have on your bike. Getting that tight rockface corner on the little bike always gets me smiling.
anybody ride bridal path today - is there snow? hoping to get out for an xc lap tomorrow morning and not get soaked…

i rode through richard juryn and up fishermans. No snow. You should be ok through bridal path. But if you want some XC RJ is set-up well right now.
Did a night ride tonight and there was snow at the top of Old Buck. We were going to go up to Corkscrew, Pingu, Pangor, but we had to hike a bike from the Severed entrance up to the power lines. Had a peek into the trail on the other side, and went back down to Severed.
I have never seen so much run off. Baden was a flowing creek in parts, and the bottom of Pangor was a veritable river. The skinnies going in to Severed on the Baden were iced up, and the water level was almost over the second skinny!
I thought we were done with snow rides!

Lower Seymour is exactly where everyone needs to be. Trails were prime today.
