we didn't both make a spelling mistake. you did. twice. hence the double fail pic.

once for expresso - it's espresso

once for trial - you meant trail

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

yeah i know you meant the trail name, and it's espresso, not expresso.

here's the link if you'd like to check it yourself.

The map has a typo :)

Seriously though, most people I know call it Expresso and a couple claim that the original builder also called it Expresso. At some point someone confused the name and it got published as Espresso. That's just the story I've been told, I didn't make it up and don't claim to be an expert.

What's the real story? Anyone know for certain?

Regardless, I'll keep calling it Expresso, because that's far cooler.

yup it was expresso after the Brodie-named bike. Someone typoed it when he made up the sign and the misspelling's stuck. Just like the trail name is Leppard but everyone spells it Leopard.

cleaned a few drains yesterday. looks like a new one is needed in one area. you basically come around a corner and now you have flowing water on the trail.

if help is needed, i am willing. haven't been able to make it to a trail day yet so would love to help.

I know the spot you mean, it will take a bunch of work to fix that section up. The trail will need to be raised with rock work, so the water can drain down the inside line. Unfortunately, it is impossible to work on in this weather.

Thanks for hitting up the drains, it makes a huge difference.
