Summer Shed race series INFO!

Hey everyone, I've got some more info regarding the Shed Bike Club's events and Twoonie races for the upcoming year!

'Twoonie Events and Races'

Tuesday April 26th - TESTEAGLES BIG AIR COMP
- registration @ 6:00pm at bottom of Testeagles
- qualifying @ 7:00pm
- finals @7:30pm
- Great spectator event, BBQ on site, come cheer on you buddies and see some high flying action

Tuesday May 31st - Goats Trail Super D
- Registration @ 6:00pm in Meadow
- Racing begins @ 6:30
- Racing from Pinewood - on the new Goats trail all the way through Shedi with a few climbs sprinkled in!

Tuesday June 28th - Short Track X/C Relay
- Registration @ 6:00pm in Meadow
- Racing @ 6:30
- A 10 lap race from the Meadow - mass start w/ teams of two tagging off laps. Trash talking recomended.

No Race in July

Tuesday August 30th - Mini Super DH
- Registration @ 6:00pm in Meadow
- Racing @ 6:30pm
- Using every inch of vert in the Shed this Super D style race will include some ripping descents and lung busting climbs!

Sunday September 25th - X/C Race
- Registration @ 9:00am in the Meadow
- Race @ 10:00am
- A true full x/c race - a mass start 10km lap race featuring all the exciting single track the Shed has to offer!

All participants in Shed Bike Club events and races must be Shed Bike Club members. Membership costs $5.00/year, race fees are $2.00 per event - and each racer must be insured through Cycling BC - get a yearly licence https://reg.ccnbikes.com/login or $8.00 one time insurance fee available on site. If you are under 18 you must have a parental signature for insurance waiver !

Went for a rip yesterday, man its changed a lot ! All the new jumps by the gully area are wicked! The wall ride is so money. My goal is to def. try and clean the whole line, the 2nd hip after the wall is the first challenge…

That XC race sounds cool…except for the wedding I'll be at the night before :high:

The Shed Bike Club has decided to yet again postpone the Teseagles Big Air comp due to weather and trail construction. The organizers will come up with a firm date for some time in the next month or so. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hope to see everyone @ our first Twoonie Race on May 31st @ 6:30 - registration and sign up @ 6:00 in meadow. The Race is the Goat's Trail Super D.

Those jumps are pretty small.Anything else a little more manly out that way? Its a bit of a drive just to fucka round.Any skinnys or hollow logs to ride through:)

Hey, guys, moved to Delta from Whistler (don't ask) this fall. Anyone wanna get a regular night ride going? XCish in character, about 1hr? Thinking weds or thurs of the top of my head…
