A painfully late start this season. Lots of snow on the access roads around Mosquito Lake, but the south facing trails are starting to open up. Johnny was out riding yesterday (March 28) and his report is here:

Our trail status page is here:

I'll have it updated later today.

Thanks for the updates!

But isn't it a bit too soon to be biking!

Thanks Pete so you figure 30 more days ,Gravitron 50.
I want to try Short and Smokey this year for shour.
If you ride Pemby make sure you got extra brake pads ,cause it is steep and deep.

Not according to the guys who have been shoveling out Happy Trail!

so you figure 30 more days ,Gravitron 50.

Maybe for Gravitron (probably two meters of snow up there), but everywhere else the snow is going fast. A lot of the south-facing trails are almost clear, it's just the road access that has snow.

Thanks again you are like a news reporter ,to all of us who have no idea, and are waiting in anticipation.
The good thing about the area and trails like M\G,C\P are mostly Rock so erosion is not as apparent.
We are getting warmer temps down here in Lower mainland, with lots of rain fall . If those systems are moving up the corridor I guess 10 or 20 days.

Pretty much all the Mosquito Lake trails are open, with some snow on the roads. Expect winter blowdown.

NIMBY is open to Bob Gnarly, but lots of snow before the paralaunch, all the upper trails are still covered.

Just got back from a ride with the dog on Grumpy Grouse. No snow on the trail, lots on the access road, but there are about 4 or 5 good-sized trees down on the top portion. I moved as much as I could alone but a chainsaw will be needed at some point

wow, we were just talking about that today. Figured the trails there would be clear, but not the road.
